Super Spacer^® T-Spacer™

Super Spacer^® T-Spacer™ Premium Plus is a flexible, silicone foam warm edge spacer system designed to satisfy the toughest commercial glazing demands, including silicone structural glazing (SSG). T-Spacer is the base product for creating the unique triple-seal design for Super Spacer TriSeal™. It incorporates an inner acrylic adhesive seal for immediate handling.

A polyisobutylene primary seal is required for enhanced gas retention and low moisture vapor transmission, plus a silicone seal for proven structural performance. Polyurethane, polysulfide, hot melt butyl and dual seal equivalents (DSEs) are acceptable sealants for captured glazing applications. T-Spacer, polyisobutylene and structural sealants are all customer-applied using automated equipment.

Super Spacer Premium Plus, Premium, TriSeal and T-Spacer products are all extruded as a high-quality silicone foam spacer. Silicone is well known for its superior resistance to ozone, UV light and oxidation. Additionally, it is very color stable. It also maintains excellent flexibility at low temperatures, has outstanding resistance to high heat and has a low compression set. In fact, many silicones have been exposed to outdoor weathering for 15 years with no significant loss of physical properties – making it an ideal polymer of choice for a broad range of high-performance applications.
